Rialto MC / MM Phonostage.
The Rialto is an audiophile phonostage designed with discrete transistors throughout (NO OP-AMPS or other IC's at all) for a maximum small signal fidelity, giving the user unparalleled music reproduction.
The moving magnet section of the Rialto has two highly linear gain stages operating in single-ended Class A mode with very wide bandwidth (over 100kHz) and features audiophile polypropylene capacitors to for the passive RIAA equalization curve.
Moving coil cartridges are handled by an additional gain stage prior to the magnet section. The additional gain stage is optimized for the amplification of MC cartridges by having a different input impedance (100 ohms), different power supply supply voltage, different transistors and different circuit design.
There are seven stages of power supply to create an extremely clean power supply and isolate the gain stages for maximum sound quality and channel separation. Moving coil or moving magnet operation is selected by two (one for each channel) push switches mounted on the circuit board.
All moving magnet and low output moving coil cartridges (with n output greater than approximately 0.2mV) are compatible with the Rialto.
